Thanksgiving Feast

We were able to host a big Thanksgiving Feast at our home on Friday the 28th. It was great to have a huge feast with all the traditional American favorites...

Turkey...stuffing...mashed potatoes and gravy...green bean casserole...cranberry salad...rolls...pumpkin pie...pecan pie...It was mouth-watering delicious.

Here's Uncle Jim getting ready to carve the turkey.

Above and Below are shots of us enjoying all of this great feast.

Even the kids had their own special table near the big folks for the feast.

And of course you have the post-food lounging that is also a traditional American favorite pastime.

One thing that most Americans didn't have to deal with though was trying to figure out how to get a 15 lb turkey into a really small oven. We ended up having to use a special pan, no oven bag, no aluminum foil tent, all just so we could get about a quarter inch of clearance from the top of the oven. Even with all of that, the turkey turned out really well.
